Your data is yours

Your data is yours

Not verified live: this guide has not been followed end to end against the live provider.

Your business keeps all rights in the data you send through Yedran, and each workspace keeps its own knowledge apart from the others. This matters because you can connect several brands without one answering with another’s information.

How it works

Ownership and use are set by Yedran’s Terms of Service, in the section named Your data.

  • You keep all rights. The messages, knowledge and records you send through the service remain yours.
  • Yedran processes your data to provide the service. It does so as the Privacy Policy describes, and for no other purpose.
  • Yedran does not train generalised models on your conversations. The Terms state that conversation content is not used for that.
  • On termination, Yedran deletes your workspace data. The Privacy Policy describes how.

How workspaces keep data apart

A workspace is a data-isolation boundary: what belongs to one workspace is not read for another.

  • Lucía answers a conversation from the knowledge bases of her assistant in that conversation’s workspace, and from no other workspace.
  • Catalogue, orders and bookings reach Lucía only when the workspace enables them for her.
  • A channel stays in the workspace you chose when you connected it. Yedran refuses a channel update that changes the workspace.

What stays shared across the organisation

Some records are shared by every workspace of one organisation, by decision. The customer is one person across the organisation’s workspaces. The system mailbox sends verification codes and transcripts for every workspace. Notices with no workspace, such as billing and seat notices, appear in every workspace.

Who decides what

  • You decide what you upload, which channels you connect and which workspace each channel joins when you connect it.
  • Yedran processes the data only to run the service for you.
